At last, this sought-after PS[T] "curiosity" is available to the public! We wanted to play "Blood Sugar Dropping" but Harry broke a string. I would've rather been at home watching the Saturday Night Cult Movie on SBS, and I said as much. Twenty bucks in the rider for four of us; never again... When Irving Gribbish (of Splodge Cinema fame) told me I had to check out Experiments in the Revival of Organisms (available from The Prelinger Archives) I got straight onto it. This guy knows his onions. It turned out to be some 1000% bizarre educational propaganda gizmo thing outta the Techfilm Studio, Moscow in 1940. Good so far, I figured. That night, I sat down to watch it with a pal and a 6pack - but a coupla minutes in I jumped up and yelled "fucking hell it´s the clip for blood... ( 1 reviews ) Source: Prelinger Archives
Voila! La fameuse album! Our meagre tribute to the unmitigated genius of Syd Barrett, the most important force in 20th century music bar none. His rendition of this tune remains unissued legitimately, so this is a previously suppressed full length version of our take (see www.pinkstainless.net for details). Now you get the song as well as the backwardsness and horse noises, but whether that rates as an improvement depends on if you have ears or not. Neigh! ( 3 reviews ) Topic: syd barrett

The head of the medusa occupies a distinctive but ambiguous place in the symbology of overhyped French philosopher Jacques Lacan. We took the words for this from a poem by Percy Shelly about the painting by Da Vinci of a scene described by Ovid, amongst others. The legend of Perseus and Andromeda is a bit of a hobby horse for me I'm afraid. The name of the song is a pun on Wilhelm Reich. Source: incubator studios
